24-Day Challenge! JOIN ME!
The Challenge!
My weak link has always been my diet, and for years I've inserted more miles or intensity into the training program to make up for poor food choices. The older I get the less that program works. Last December I spent 9 days in Nicaragua and lived mostly on beans and rice. I (re)learned what a difference diet could make - by the end of that trip I felt better than I had in years. Then I flew home, on December 23rd, and a week later the holiday treats had me feeling back to my bloated sluggish self...
Jump ahead to March 3rd, and I had made up my mind to make some long overdue changes. What I needed, however, was a structured approach. Something to help guide me to a place of healthy lifestyle food choices.
March 3rd was day one of doing things differently. Day one of the AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge.
Ten days later and eight pounds lighter I again felt great! I was energized, feeling light and ambitious, and felt amazing mental acuity.
Reality bites...
However, it was time for my knee surgery and so had stop taking all supplements. A day or two after that I had a root canal. These proved to be too much for me to overcome and soon I slipped back into my old habits. I didn't finish the Challenge.
But I'm ready to go for it again, because I really want to be my best self, and so know I need to make these changes. I also know enough to sincerely believe in the AdvoCare program.
Food Allergies...
My wife is convinced that much of the bloating, sluggishness and discomfort that I so often feel is food allergies. This program is a great way to help determine that, as you start by getting back to basics, and then as other foods are added back in, you can make note of when something "doesn't feel right".
Accountability is a good thing!
Now, the biggest difference I'd like to make this time is to share the experience with a group of friends, believing that the support and accountability will be a determining factor in how well I'm able to defeat these junk food demons. And since I know that I'm not alone in my food struggles, I want to invite you along. Just imagine the new you - slimmer, fitter, more energized - and in just 24 days!
Let's Do It!
What do you say, will you join me?
Wondering about the Cost? What I discovered what that when cutting out the morning coffee, afternoon pop or vending machine run, and evening snacks, you put a big dent in the cost of the program. Skip a couple of the out of office lunches (because you are packing a much better alternative) and that save you another $20 or $30 bucks. Finally, forego one or two dinners out during the program and the cost is down to just a few bucks.
Besides, how much is your long term health and fitness worth?!
In case you are wondering - NO this is NOT a fast. YES you do eat and in fact will never be hungry. The program is about healthy choices and supplementation geared for the specific goal in each specific phase of the program. Check out the details at the link I provided above. Then, if you are at all interested, drop me a line so we can talk details, and I'll be able to answer any questions you may have.
Be sure to contact me prior to making any purchase, however, as I'll be able to get us a group discount!
Target date to start? TBD, but think Mid-June'ish

Geeze, seems root canals are going around these days. Sorry to hear you had one, too.
Since cutting out concentrated sugar 8 months ago, I've lost almost 10 pounds. At this point, I have to make sure I eat more stuff so I'll quit losing weight. I try to eat more good stuff. I'm allergic to red meat, so I don't eat that and haven't in over 6 years. Remember, natural is better than processed stuff.
Good luck!
